A news story was raised to my attention this week about a Cocker Spaniel called Coco flying to the US to save her sick pup, Millie, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Her pup moved to the US after being bought by their owner and now after being found as a match, Coco flew to the US to donate stem cells to her pup Millie with the hope it will save her life after chemotherapy not being successful. The transplant took place on Sunday (17th November 2019) so we will now have to wait and see whether it was successful. It just goes to show SCT's can have a huge difference in both humans and pets alike. Click here to see the full article.
